Families & Young People

What about children?

Jesus loved children – and so do we. They are not part of the church of tomorrow, but part of the church today! Children of all ages – and their parents – are very welcome, and we are relaxed about any noise that young ones naturally make.

Our vision for children is:

To introduce children and young people to Jesus by bringing the Bible to life faithfully for them, so that they will have their own relationship with God.

Lighthouse Club!

Lighthouse Club for children (approx 3-14yrs) meets in the Cornerstone room at East Dean Church during the morning service. The children go out during the service, after a children's slot, and come back in to join the congregation for the last hymn.

Christian themes will be explored through fun, friendship, craft, music, drama, bible study activities and discussion relevant to all ages, following the Mosaic 'Scripture Union' program.

Créche

Young children are particularly welcome at our morning services at East Dean where we offer the Cornerstone Room for 0-3s to enjoy the toys there at any time, with a parent/carer.

Our Churches

Our churches seek to offer a warm welcome, authentic worship from the heart, and talks which are Biblical, expository, and down-to-earth.
